White Birch Resort

My family and I were looking for a place to relax and get away during the winter time. We were able to enjoy the best of what Minnesota has to offer. The ice fishing was great and the homes were very spacious. We enjoyed the hot tubs. Monte and Sandy were very kind. I would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.

We had a great time at White Birch resort! Home #5 was big enough to house all 22 of us. The hot tub was heavily used due to the rainy/gloomy weather. Kids enjoyed the playground being right in the front of the house. Checking in and out was very easy. Definitely will be considering White Birch again in the near future. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Simply fantastic. I hope that if new owners take possession of this place, it retains its charm and it's excellent grounds.

Decor is beautiful north woods/fishing theme. We stayed at the cabin with a hot tub which was a big hit! Loved the BIG dining table and the fireplace. Grandkids enjoyed the movie room downstairs during quiet time. 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths met all of our needs. Towels/wash cloths and kitchen towels are not furnished which was fine, but we did find it odd that we had to vacuum before checking out.

The cabin 12 that we had booked was perfect for our family. Kids loved the bathtub with jets, the bunk beds. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you would have in a fully functional home. The location is remote and serene. We loved the pontoon rental. Kids and the adults loved the pool. The best part was how welcoming and helpful the owner , Monte, was. He spent time with me and the kids teaching us to fish. Came out at 9 pm when kids caught a big bluegill and we did not know how to get it off the hook. All in all a great resort, good price and amazing host. Thank you Monte. We look forward to coming back some time soon.

We truly enjoyed our stay at White Birch Resort. Our family stayed at Cabin 8. We loved the privacy of this hidden gem. The pool was close by and just a short walk to the beach. The playground was a nice surprise for our 2 year old granddaughter. We bought our own pontoon, and had plenty of space to dock it. The cabin was neat and clean. We loved having a washer and dryer for all the towels we used. We didn’t have hot water one day, and Monty was Johnny on the Spot to fix it. We definitely will be back! Thanks Monty and Sandy!

We had an amazing family vacation at White Birch Resort. The "reunion house" we stayed in was beautiful and plenty big enough to accommodate our family of 13 with room to spare. The kids enjoyed the inflatables, pool and of course our hot tub on the porch...which the adults also really enjoyed. It was a great week!! The weather cooperated even if the fish did not. Just a good reason to try it again another year. Monty and Sandy were great hosts and filled our every wish (oops! Almost...no blender) All said...we had a GREAT time!

Had the best vacation here in 2011 for our yearly fishing trip. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well equipped with all of our cooking we did. The resort toys sure kept our 4 kids busy the entire week. The lake was great for fishing for all of us which really helped. The owners sure have put a lot of effort in keeping this resort growing by all of the new things they have added over the years they have owned it. We again stayed here in 2013 for another family reunion and Monte and Sandy just keeping adding more to the resort. They added 2 more homes to the resort and also a couple really nice studio cabins. Our family stayed in 7a which was right next to the swimming pool and the beach which was great for all the grandkids(12). I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a rental that is built and decorated better than most peoples homes. I sure di like the pay washer and dryers in the homes they provided. it was the same cheaper for a load of laundry in the home compared to driving 25 miles away to do it, what a blessing.
